CHARITY NUMBER: 1206868
Swami Vivekananda
On February 5th, 2024, England and Wales officially recognized the International Vedanta Society as a charity, with registration through the Charities Commission (Charity Number: 1206868).
The dream of Sri Bhagavan has always been to establish a centre for the International Vedanta Society in London. With active centres in India, Indonesia, Spain, and the Netherlands, our mission is to create a welcoming space in London where people from all walks of life can connect with their true nature.
Swami Vivekananda emphasized the importance of self-belief in Vedanta. He said, "Vedanta teaches men to have faith in themselves first. As certain religions of the world say that a man who does not believe in a Personal God outside of himself is an atheist, so Vedanta says, a man who does not believe in himself is an atheist. Not believing in the glory of our own soul is what Vedanta calls atheism!"
Currently, we conduct Vedanta sessions at various locations around London. These sessions aim to inspire and empower individuals on their journey to self-realization. Our spiritual scriptures remind us of the importance of the company we keep. During these sessions we engaging in enriching conversations, it's a profound way to spend our time.
Whether you are new to Vedanta or have been on a spiritual path for years, we invite you to join our sessions and be part of our growing community. Find solace and inspiration as you explore the depths of your own soul and the divine connection within.
Together, let's walk the path to self-discovery and enlightenment
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals. Your generous donation will help fund our mission of establishing a permanent Vedanta Centre in England.
