Vedanta is not a religion, and we are not a religious organisation. Vedanta is a spiritual philosophy and a practical approach to self-discovery, inner growth, and understanding the deeper nature of life.

Our focus is on spiritual practices such as meditation, self-inquiry, mindfulness, and living with greater awareness, compassion, and clarity. These teachings are universal and can be explored by anyone, regardless of their religious beliefs, cultural background, or whether they follow a spiritual path at all.

We welcome people of all faiths, traditions, and perspectives who are interested in personal growth, inner peace, and deeper understanding.

Many people find meditation challenging when they begin—it is a natural part of the practice. Like any new skill, meditation becomes easier with patience, regular practice, and the right guidance.

Meditating with others can often be especially helpful, as the shared atmosphere and gentle support of a group can make it easier to settle the mind and develop confidence in your practice.

We offer guided meditation sessions at our centre as well as online, welcoming people of all levels of experience. We also offer one-to-one guidance for those who would like more personal support.

Please get in touch to arrange an individual session or to find out about our upcoming meditation sessions.

“Jahnavi Ma worked with me and my family during a really difficult time. She teaches in a gentle and insightful way. We are so grateful for the support and teaching she has given us and for the skills we have learnt. It is an approach that has helped each of us to find an inner calm.
