"An oasis in the heart of London"

Satya prana Mata in London

We were deeply honoured to welcome Satya Prana Mata, the lead Sanyassini of IVS in the Netherlands and manager of the ashram in Malden, to London for a week of inspiring programmes. She was accompanied by Mohini and Hans, whose presence added to the joy and warmth of this special visit.

During their stay, we had the privilege of being invited to Maha Lakshmi Vidya Bhagavan and Sri Raghavendra Swami Math, where we shared in uplifting spiritual gatherings. We also hosted a series of special satsangs at our centre, giving devotees the opportunity to hear Satya Prana Mata's heartfelt reflections and wisdom.

A special highlight of the week was the launch of Satya Prana Mata's book, In Truth and Love, which beautifully shares her spiritual journey and experiences. We were also delighted to visit London Sevashram Sangha, strengthening the bonds of friendship and shared devotion within our wider spiritual community.

Another memorable moment was the opportunity to witness a beautiful dance performance by Mohini during one of our programmes, which brought grace, joy, and devotion to the gathering.

Throughout the week, Satya Prana Mata spoke openly about her spiritual journey and how meeting Bhagavan transformed her life. She shared that, although she had followed other teachers in the past, she always felt there was a limit to how far and how deeply she could progress. Her heart continued to long for something more. Having found Bhagavan and committed herself to living His ideals, she now knows that her spiritual path will continue to unfold without limitation, allowing her to grow ever deeper in truth, love, and self-realisation.

We offer our heartfelt gratitude to Satya Prana Mata, Mohini, and Hans for their time, love, and guidance. Their visit was a true blessing for our London community, leaving us inspired to continue walking Bhagavan's path with renewed faith, dedication, and love.

              April - May 2025 Swami Sankaranandaji's tour

We were deeply honoured to welcome Swami Sankaranandaji, General Secretary of the India branch of the International Vedanta Society (IVS), during his inspiring tour across the UK, the Netherlands, and Spain in April and May 2025. Swamiji, a revered teacher and monastic disciple of Sri Bhagavan, brought his profound wisdom and presence to our London Centre, as well as to Edinburgh, Barcelona, and various locations in the Netherlands.

The London leg of the tour was especially memorable. Highlights included a meaningful interfaith dialogue co-led by Swamiji and Reverend Mother Helen of St. Philip's Church, and two transformative day-long retreats. These retreats offered participants the rare opportunity for one-on-one interviews with Swamiji, where they received personal guidance to deepen their individual spiritual practice.

Swamiji also spent time in Essex, where a new IVS Centre is in development, supporting its growth with his vision and presence. Throughout the tour, we were delighted to welcome guests from the USA, Spain, and the Netherlands, creating a vibrant international atmosphere of shared learning and inspiration.

This journey followed Swamiji’s recent successful visits to Indonesia and Hong Kong, and once again, he touched many hearts—encouraging seekers from all walks of life to take meaningful steps on the path of Self-Realization.

We look forward to welcoming Swamiji back to London and the UK again soon.

                10/07/2025 Guru Purnima

Testimony from our 2024 Guru Purnima event

"My family and I came across this wonderful Guru Purnima event, organised by the established International Vedanta Society, simply by chance, and we consider ourselves very fortunate to have had the opportunity to attend. We were  warmly greeted by Jahnavi Ma and her team who made us feel at home right from the beginning and  instantly felt the positivity of the members of the International Vedanta Society. Having never attended a Guru Purnima event before we simply weren't sure what to expect, however, after witnessing all the wonderful performances and talks that were organised,we were simply left speechless as to how beautifully Guru Purnima can be celebrated. From the soulful tunes played on the Veena to the magical Bharatnatyam dance performances, each segment of the event touched our hearts. We were fortunate to have been able to listen to Swami Sankarananda Maharaji live from Kolkata whose words brought so much positivity and wisdom to us and made us more aware about what self-realisation truly is. We thank Jahnavi Ma and all the members of the International Vedanta Society for curating such a beautiful event and making us a part of your family. We look forward to attending more such events in the future and will reach out to others to do the same. Thank you"
